Dear Carriage Crossing Home Owners,
After many discussions and much research, the Board for the Homes Association has decided we will not open the pool until we reasonably believe opening the pool to be a prudent decision. We’ve had discussions with experts, city officials, county officials, and other neighborhood homes associations.
The CCHA Board, at the May 3rd meeting, made the following decisions:
1. We will not open sooner than June 12th, and only after it is considered reasonably safe to open the pool, in accordance with other relative agencies’ decisions to open.
○ Additionally, the CCHA Board will not open the pool until it is confident that the HOA has adequate insurance to address the various possible issues that may arise.
2. If and when we do open the pool, we will follow state and county orders and regulations regarding the maximum number of people and social distancing requirements.
3. The CCHA Board made the decision that, for 2020, guests will not be permitted to use the pool.
4. No parties will be allowed at the pool this summer unless the state achieves at least Stage 3 requirements set forth by the state of Kansas. No exceptions.
5. Those that fall under any high-risk categories for contracting COVID-19 should not use the pool.
6. The pool gate entry system is due for update/replacement. All homeowners will need to register for and obtain a new key card when available. Stay tuned.
7. The new waiver and pool rules form (which will be made available to homeowners shortly) must be signed and received by the CCHA Board before you will be permitted to use the pool.
