CCHA ANNUAL MEETING & BUDGET

Happy New Year to all Carriage Crossing residents! I’m sure we all hope to return to some form of normal life sometime this year. The purpose of this email is to announce our annual home owner’s meeting. The meeting this year will be at 7:30pm, Sunday, January 31st. This year’s meeting will be virtual and we’ll be using Zoom. There is plenty of capacity for all owners to join. The agenda for the meeting will include a review of the 2020 budget and approval of a budget for 2021, election of new board members, a review of the board’s decisions regarding the use off the pool in 2020, and discussion as to maintenance projects in the neighborhood. It’s important that the board hears from each of you so we encourage attendance and participation in the meeting.

Please find attached the 2021 budget as proposed by your board. The board is recommending that we do not increase the annual dues this year. If you have questions regarding the budget, please either bring them to the meeting or ask:

We are having difficulty filling two open board positions for the 2021-2022 term — Communications and Treasurer. Both are important positions and we really need to try to fill these positions in the next few days. Will each of you please seriously consider volunteering to serve in one of these two positions? You will have plenty of support from current and past board members in learning and fulfilling the limited duties of the positions. One last note, the board hopes to be able to implement by March a convenient, electronic method for the payment of annual dues, as an additional option to paying by check. It will be important that we have a current email address on file for each home owner to assist in this process. I encourage you to log in to the website cchaleawood.com, and update your profile with your current email and phone numbers.
The ballot for approving the proposed budget and new board members will be sent out shortly by mail.
